Privacy Policy for Sokoban Collection Pro
Last updated: October 16, 2026
This policy applies to Sokoban Collection Pro for Android, package org.alesapps.sokoban, developed by Ales Apps. This is the paid Pro edition without advertising. It explains what data the game and its integrated services access, why they use it, where it is stored, who receives it and how you can control or delete it.
For privacy questions and requests, contact alesappsco@gmail.com. The game does not create a separate Ales Apps user account.
Google Play Games: data accessed and purposes
Sign-in and gaming profile
The game initiates Google Play Games sign-in from its menu. Google handles account selection and authentication. After successful sign-in, the Google Play Games integration reads your player identifier, gamer display name and avatar/profile-image address, together with authentication status. These identify the player whose achievements, leaderboard entries and saved progress are being accessed. The game's own progress files do not include your gamer name or avatar.
Basic gameplay can continue without a successful Google Play Games sign-in. Google achievements, leaderboards and cloud save/restore require an authenticated player and service availability. The game does not ask you to give Ales Apps your Google password.
Achievements and leaderboard results
The integration reads achievement information and sends game results to Google Play Games: Achievement identifiers and progress based on puzzle completion, player moves and box pushes. The leaderboard result is the total number of completed levels. These records let Google associate your achievements and leaderboard entry with your gaming profile and display them through Play Games features.
Cloud backup and restore
When you use the game's cloud-save or restore controls, it writes or reads a game-progress snapshot through Google Play Games Saved Games. The application-defined cloud-save contents are: Puzzle-collection identifiers, level counts, completion flags, recorded completion time, number of moves and number of pushes. Google also maintains service metadata such as the snapshot identifier and last-modified time. Restoring progress reads the cloud data and writes the restored progress to the device.
The Google permissions configured for this game are https://www.googleapis.com/auth/games and https://www.googleapis.com/auth/games_lite for Play Games features, and https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.appdata for application-specific cloud data. The Drive permission is limited to hidden application data; it does not grant access to your ordinary Drive documents, photos or folders. We do not request separate Google email, Gmail or contacts permissions.
Google game data is used to provide sign-in, achievements, leaderboards and cloud backup/restore. Google also processes SDK diagnostics and analytics to operate and improve Play Games under its own policies. See Google's Privacy Policy and its Play Games data disclosures.
Local game data and support messages
On your device: Puzzle collections and level progress, the current puzzle and move history, play time, moves and pushes, local save slots and timestamps, and preferences such as language, sound and controls. These data let the game resume play and remember your preferences. Only the cloud-progress fields identified above are included in the game's cloud snapshot.
When you contact support: we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message, such as a problem description or screenshot. We use this information to answer the request and investigate the issue. Correspondence is handled in our Gmail mailbox. It is not an automatic collection of your Google account email by the game.
Who receives data and limits on Google data use
- Google: processes authentication, gaming-profile information, achievements, leaderboard records and cloud saves through Google Play Games and its associated storage services. Ales Apps does not operate a separate cloud-save or player-account server.
- Other players: your gamer name, avatar and eligible profile, achievement or leaderboard information can be visible according to your Google Play Games visibility settings. Cloud-save contents are not published to a public leaderboard.
- Ales Apps and its email provider: receive and store support correspondence that you choose to send. We do not publish your support messages.
Google API data commitment: our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including applicable Limited Use requirements. We use this information only for the game features described here. We do not sell it or share it with advertising providers.
Google game data is not combined with advertising identifiers for ad targeting. Any legally required disclosure is limited to what the applicable requirement demands.
Advertising
This Pro edition does not display advertisements or use Appodeal to serve ads. The advertising data processing used in the separate free edition is not part of this edition's advertising functionality.
Storage and protection
Local progress and settings are kept in Android application-specific storage. Access protections depend on the Android version and device configuration. The game does not add its own encryption layer to local progress files.
Communication handled by Google Play Games uses HTTPS encryption in transit. Google controls authentication and access to its cloud services. The integration accesses the authenticated player's data for the relevant game. Ales Apps does not store your Google password or maintain a separate copy of cloud saves on an Ales Apps server.
Support messages are kept in our email account. Information processed by Google and, where applicable, advertising providers is protected under those providers' respective safeguards. No storage or transmission method can guarantee absolute security.
How long data is kept
- Local progress and preferences: remain until replaced, reset or removed from the device. Clearing the application's storage removes its current local data.
- Google gaming profile and service records: are managed by Google under its account and Play Games policies. Achievements and leaderboard results remain associated with your Play Games profile until removed through the applicable Google controls.
- Cloud progress: is retained for backup and restore until overwritten or deleted through applicable Google controls, subject to Google's retention practices. Ales Apps does not run an additional developer-side retention database for these snapshots.
- Support correspondence: is kept while needed to answer your request and handle related follow-up, disputes or applicable legal obligations. When it is no longer needed for those purposes, we delete it. You can request earlier deletion of information we hold, subject to any retention we are legally required to maintain.
Your choices, access and deletion
- Local data: open Android Settings, select Sokoban Collection Pro, then its storage settings and clear application data/storage. This removes local progress and preferences. It does not by itself delete records held in Google services.
- Play Games data: use Google's controls to delete the game's Play Games data or your Play Games profile. Follow Google's instructions for deleting Play Games data; they explain the records covered and the limits of that action.
- Hidden Drive application data and access: use the applicable connected-app or hidden-app-data controls in Google Drive settings, where available, and manage the game's authorization in Google Account connections. Removing access does not necessarily delete data already stored. Google describes the storage in its application-data documentation.
- Support and privacy requests: email alesappsco@gmail.com to request access, correction or deletion of information Ales Apps holds. State the game and the request; do not send your Google password. We may ask for information reasonably needed to identify the correspondence concerned. If data is held directly by Google or another provider, we will explain the relevant provider controls rather than claim that deleting an email removes those provider records.
Deleting local data and deleting cloud data are separate actions. If you continue using Google Play Games, achievements, leaderboard entries and cloud progress can be created again when the corresponding features are used.
Parents and guardians
Google account and Play Games availability is subject to Google's account and parental controls. If you are a parent or guardian and have a concern about information relating to your child, contact us. We will review information held by Ales Apps, such as a support message, and explain the Google or other provider controls that apply to provider-held data.
Changes and contact
We will post changes to this policy at this URL and update its date. If the way the game handles Google user data changes, we will notify users, update the disclosures and obtain any required consent before using that data for a new purpose.
